Pumpkin carving - Halloween Day

Savannah's only request was that the pumpkin have teeth....that I CAN do!
I like to carve pumpkins...I think I might be the only one of us who does like it? Savannah wanted to take the "hat" off but after she saw the pumpkin guts, she wanted nothing to do with touching it!

Sydney sat for a few seconds for a picture, and then she had more fun playing on the slide and swing set!

Happy Halloween!!! October 31, 2009

Savannah really took to the "Trick-or-Treating" this year. Except she would not actually say "Trick-or-Treat" but once! She loved every minute!

We Love Halloween! Joe was such a good sport to dress up with us...everyone asked how much I paid Joe to wear those leggings..! Scandal! (he volunteered!)

Peter Pan (Joe), Tinkerbell (Savannah) and their fairy friends (Jana & Sydney)
Our ward does a carnival every Halloween: hot dogs, chili, snowies, booths, candy and more. It is such a blast and people from all over the valley come to attend in our neighborhood. We love it!
Savannah loves to "fish" in the pond....she went back a few times!

One of the young men in our ward and his friends were the infamous, Beatles...they were actually pretty good! Savannah wanted to stay and listen to them sing.

Sydney Ann the pretty pink fairy....and such a climber!

Three Fairies: Sydney, Jana & Tinkerbell (Savannah)

Caught Ya! - April 10, 2009

This is Sydney's first ponytail! I realized she had enough hair on top to put in a rubberband and tiny clip. She is soooo cute! I just love this girl!
The ponytail gave Syd a pretty crazy hair do! It made all of us laugh!

The girls have started to play so well together. What a blessing! Savannah is (mostly) nice to Sydney and they laugh, chase and smile together.
Savannah and Sydney both love to sit in the toy cupboard. It must be because it is a small space, just their size? Sydney (10 months) poses for my picture.

Roses galore! - April 7, 2009

We planted 6 rose bushes last fall and they have been so beautiful! These pictures cannot possibly do justice to their color and splendor!
Savannah says, "Cheeze!" for the camera. (We are still trying to get her to look at the camera when she says cheese....a work in progress!)

Of course, Sydney loves the dirt! She plays in it and eats it! Yumm!

I couldn't help but smile every time I saw our beautiful roses. What a joy to live in a wonderful world with so many marvelous things to see and grow!

What a Dad! - April 6, 2009

Joe spends countless hours reading to the girls. What a beautiful sight! He is such a wonderful Dad (and husband!) We are so blessed to have him!

The Diamondbacks biggest fan! - April 6, 2009

Seriously, Savannah is a huge D-backs fan! She sits and watches the games on TV with Joe and does all the cheers with the crowd. Every night when Joe comes home from work, she wants him to put a Diamondbacks shirt on. She has 2 shirts, but when they were both dirty, she wanted to wear mine! This picture shows how big it is on her, but she thought it was perfect.

Phoenix Zoo - March 28, 2009

Jana, Savannah & Sydney riding on the tractor.
Savannah loves those goats!

She follows them all over. She has no fear!

Joe helps Savannah pet the sting rays. She loves it when her Dad can come with us to the zoo. She is such a daddy's girl!

Go Coyotes! - March 26, 2009

One of Joe's clients has season tickets to the Pheonix Coyotes Hockey games. He gave us four great tickets and we went with the Hedges. Savannah loved it!!!
Matt & Emmalyn

Jayna & Shaylin

It was a very exciting game! Several goals and lots of noise! Savannah really got into it. She still talks about how she loved the hockey game and it was nearly 2 months ago. She says, "We went to the hockey game...that was fun, huh?!"

Messy faces!!! - March 22, 2009

Can you resist taking a picture of this face?!

Sydney 9 1/2 months
Savannah loves to slurp her spaghetti noodles....who doesn't?

Adorable girls and a big mess!

Hogle Zoo! - March 14, 2009

Grandpa, Aunt Julie, Uncle Josh, Grandma, Jana

Sydney, Miranda, Samuel & Savannah

Uncle Josh taking a rest on the trunk of this enormous iron elephant!
Grandpa insisted we take a picture of Savannah to show her the Savanna!
There is a great little play place for kids at the Hogle Zoo. Savannah tries to get this spider the take her for a ride? He didn't cooperate!

Grandma Parker and Sydney Ann

Miranda and Savannah share a squeeze on the train ride.

Julie took this great picture as we were looking at the monkeys. Doesn't it look like a professional photo? It is! She is an awesome photographer!

The carousel is a must ride....no matter where we are! Savannah, Grandpa Parker and Uncle Josh enjoyed riding the animals together.

Awww! Sydney was so tired, she fell asleep on Grandpa as we walked to the car! It was so cute, we had to take a photo. What a doll! (and Sydney, too!)

Hanging with the Fam - March 2009

Savannah cornered Grandpa Glenn in the basement. She was happy to have him to herself for nearly an hour!
Sydney loved the Glenn's dog, Kona. She kept pulling on him and followed him where ever he went. He was very nice about it.

Savannah definitely loves to visit our families in Utah. She has so many people to play with her and they are glad to do it. They are much more fun than her boring mother!

Reading books with Grandma Parker

Tea Party with Uncle James

Road trip to Utah, Hoover Dam - March 8, 2009

Grandma and Julie came for Carley's baptism in Flagstaff. We drove up too, and met them there. The next morning the girls and I drove back with them to visit family and friends in Utah valley.

Grandma helps Savannah get all her wiggles out as they run along side the Hoover Dam. Can you guess who won the race?

Sweet Sydney Ann - March 1, 2009

This may be my favorite picture of Sydney. It shows her infectious smile and beautiful blue eyes. Doesn't it make you want to squeeze those cheeks?!

Happy Birthday, Rocko! - February 21, 2009

Rockford had a football birthday party. It was the first birthday party Savannah has been to. She had lots of fun...even though she wouldn't hit the pinata.
She dressed up as a cheerleader...she looked so cute!
