Caught Ya! - April 10, 2009

This is Sydney's first ponytail! I realized she had enough hair on top to put in a rubberband and tiny clip. She is soooo cute! I just love this girl!
The ponytail gave Syd a pretty crazy hair do! It made all of us laugh!

The girls have started to play so well together. What a blessing! Savannah is (mostly) nice to Sydney and they laugh, chase and smile together.
Savannah and Sydney both love to sit in the toy cupboard. It must be because it is a small space, just their size? Sydney (10 months) poses for my picture.

Roses galore! - April 7, 2009

We planted 6 rose bushes last fall and they have been so beautiful! These pictures cannot possibly do justice to their color and splendor!
Savannah says, "Cheeze!" for the camera. (We are still trying to get her to look at the camera when she says cheese....a work in progress!)

Of course, Sydney loves the dirt! She plays in it and eats it! Yumm!

I couldn't help but smile every time I saw our beautiful roses. What a joy to live in a wonderful world with so many marvelous things to see and grow!

Joe spends countless hours reading to the girls. What a beautiful sight! He is such a wonderful Dad (and husband!) We are so blessed to have him!

The Diamondbacks biggest fan! - April 6, 2009

Seriously, Savannah is a huge D-backs fan! She sits and watches the games on TV with Joe and does all the cheers with the crowd. Every night when Joe comes home from work, she wants him to put a Diamondbacks shirt on. She has 2 shirts, but when they were both dirty, she wanted to wear mine! This picture shows how big it is on her, but she thought it was perfect.

Go Coyotes! - March 26, 2009

One of Joe's clients has season tickets to the Pheonix Coyotes Hockey games. He gave us four great tickets and we went with the Hedges. Savannah loved it!!!

It was a very exciting game! Several goals and lots of noise! Savannah really got into it. She still talks about how she loved the hockey game and it was nearly 2 months ago. She says, "We went to the hockey game...that was fun, huh?!"

There is a great little play place for kids at the Hogle Zoo. Savannah tries to get this spider the take her for a ride? He didn't cooperate!

The carousel is a must ride....no matter where we are! Savannah, Grandpa Parker and Uncle Josh enjoyed riding the animals together.

Awww! Sydney was so tired, she fell asleep on Grandpa as we walked to the car! It was so cute, we had to take a photo. What a doll! (and Sydney, too!)

Hanging with the Fam - March 2009

Savannah cornered Grandpa Glenn in the basement. She was happy to have him to herself for nearly an hour!
Sydney loved the Glenn's dog, Kona. She kept pulling on him and followed him where ever he went. He was very nice about it.

Savannah definitely loves to visit our families in Utah. She has so many people to play with her and they are glad to do it. They are much more fun than her boring mother!

Road trip to Utah, Hoover Dam - March 8, 2009

Grandma and Julie came for Carley's baptism in Flagstaff. We drove up too, and met them there. The next morning the girls and I drove back with them to visit family and friends in Utah valley.

Grandma helps Savannah get all her wiggles out as they run along side the Hoover Dam. Can you guess who won the race?

Rockford had a football birthday party. It was the first birthday party Savannah has been to. She had lots of fun...even though she wouldn't hit the pinata.
