Early Christmas Tree - November 23, 2008

We decided to put up our Christmas tree early because every time we were at a store, Savannah was super excited when she saw the trees and lights. She kept wanting to go back and see them while we shopped!

Putting up a tree is hard work! Savannah took a break and laid down under the tree...she said she would sleep there!
Dad & Savannah putting the top of the tree on.
Savannah & Sydney "helping" decorate the tree.
Savannah seperated the branches into colors and then brought them to Mom & Dad to put in the stem....what a good helper!

Savannah the Puzzle Queen! - November 15, 2008

We discovered that Savannah loves puzzles!!! I got several puzzles on clearance for 3-7 year olds. They have 25 pieces each. Savannah can do them all by herself! After a few tips from mom & dad, she started putting all the pieces together. We were amazed! She would do puzzles for an hour and she must have a photographic memory...after she has done it once, she remembers where the pieces go the next time!

Savannah reads to Sydney - November 22, 2008

Savannah loves to read books! She memorizes the words of her favorite books and then reads them to Sydney. This is "Way Far Away on a Wild Safari."

Messy face! - November 16, 2008

Sydney started eating solids at 4 1/2 months. She likes vegetables and fruit but is not really into rice cereal. She likes oatmeal and barley ok, but she definitely does not want to eat cereal plain!

Couch Potatoes! - November 8, 2008

Savannah loves to do whatever her dad is doing. We love to snuggle up together on the couch whenever we get the chance!

Joe & the girls - October 26, 2008

Despite how Joe thought boys would be easier to raise, he sure adores his girls! They are both excited to see him when he gets home from work. Savannah often cries when he has to go to meetings at night. She loves her dad!

Desert Breeze Park - October 20, 2008

We love this park. It is a half way point between Mesa and Maricopa in Chandler. We often meet our friends Meagan & Anthony (red shirt) to play. There is a splash park, train, and covered playground with sand!

Sydney - 4 1/2 mo - October 16, 2008

Sydney loves to be in her saucer. She can stand up and turn around and be surrounded by toys! She is such a happy baby.

Halloween! - October 31, 2008

We dressed up as fifties girls and Joe wore a white shirt and jeans to keep in with our theme...I made the girls skirts, and they looked so cute!

Our ward/neighborhood had a carnival. Savannah loved the fishing booth and the snow cones. I did the face painting booth. I thought I would be bored, but I ended up having a line of kids waiting to get their faces painted! It was so fun and it turned out awesome!

The Glenn girls in their matching poodle skirts!

The office finally got finished! - October 14, 2008

2 coats of primer and paint on the walls and 2 coats of primer and 4 coats of paint on the doors and trim....it is finally finished being painted! It looks awesome. We are so glad we decided to "remodel" this room!
Savannah thought she wanted to help...it didn't last long!

We all worked on the room...it was a big project!

Caught Ya! - October 10, 2008

Savannah knows she is not supposed to get on the table....but she was cute anyway!

Phoenix Zoo! August 30, 2008

Always has to climb and explore!
We love the zoo! We have a pass so we go at least once a month. It is so muc fun and a good walk too!
It was early enough in the morning that the animals were out and about before it got too hot...(I got in trouble for trying to climb over a fence to get a better picture! Oops! Great example, right?)
Watching the coy fish...
Mother & baby zebras

The Glamorous Glenn Girls!

Savannah Jo - 2 yrs 5 months
Sydney Ann - 3 months
Savannah has started talking to Sydney and Syd smiles at her. It is fun to see them interact. Savannah tells Syd that she loves her now too. Very sweet!
I can't help but dress them in matching dresses...it is just too much fun! Aren't they so cute???
Savannah enjoys playing with Sydney's toys too.
Loungin' in the chair together!

Father-Daughter Campout - Sept. 5, 2008

Joe took Savannah on her first campout! Our ward had a campout at a sight just past Payson in the mountains. I packed them up and they were off!
Savannah sleeping as snug as a bug in her sleeping bag. She got some sleep....but Dad was up most of the night!
Thanks to Bishop Riggs for bringing his horses for the girls to ride! Joe said that Savannah had no fear of the horses. She would go up and stick her face through the fence and be nose-to-nose with them...what a cutie! (Classic Savannah picture with her tongue out!)
There she is...the Pink Rodeo Queen and riding all by herself too! She threw a fit when Joe packed her up to take her home. She would have stayed and played with the horses all day. She just loves animals!!! I told Joe, that a horse would be our next pet?! I thought it was a good idea! LOL

Labor Day - Sept. 1, 2008

The Wright's came over for a BBQ...the guys & kids played on the swingset, football, & frisbee in the backyard.
Ryan & Cutter throwing the frisbee.
Savannah & Peyton played wuth the kitchen/dishes in Savannah's room....both are really into the kitchen thing right now!!!
We started a new project of remodeling our den/office into another bedroom. We packed up all the stuff and Joe took down all the shelves...next we will patch holes, sand walls, remove cabinets, then prime & paint the paneling...update coming when we get more done!

Princess Savannah! Aug. 19, 2008

Grandma & Josh blew up this bed for Savannah. She slept in Princess style the whole week at Grandma's house...she loves being treated like the princess she knows she is! Grandma always has fun things for the kids to do. Savannah likes the water and the little pool!
Savannah loves horse riding!

Hangin' Out at Parkers - FHE Aug. 18, 2008

Grandma took Savannah for a ride on a special bike with Bro. Fleisher...he designed the bike. She was scared at first, but loved it when they got going! She has the need for speed!
All the grandkids love jumping on the trampoline...especially with Grandpa! He holds under their arms and they go really high. Savannah was laughing so much when he was jumping with her, she got flimsy in the legs!

The neighbor brought over her new little dog. Savannah loves dogs! Especially little ones. She will have to take that up with her dad...
Cousins trying to share (or not) the slide. It is a favorite!
